Free Printable Check-In Chart

A school week of morning and afternoon check-ins with plain faces, a short note a day, and a summary for home with room to write back.

What you type stays on your phone.

How to use it
  1. Each morning and afternoon, the student points to the face that fits, and the teacher marks it. Add a few words if it helps.
  2. On Friday, the teacher fills in the summary for home at the bottom.
  3. It goes home in the backpack, and home writes back on the last lines.

Why it helps

A quick check-in shows how a student arrives and leaves each day, and a week on one page shows the pattern. The summary gives families the good news, not only the hard days.
