Free Printable Colors and Shapes

6 pages · 8 colors, 8 shapes

Eight colors to color in and eight shapes to trace and name, then match them: draw a line, or cut and glue. Works in black and white.

What you type stays on your phone.

How to use it
  1. Start with the colors your child likes best. Say the color word, find a crayon that color, and color the crayon on the page.
  2. On the shape pages, trace each shape from the big dot and say its name.
  3. Then match: draw a line to the same shape, or cut the shapes out and glue each one on its match.

Why it helps

Colors and shapes are some of the first words for describing the world: "the red cup", "the round one". Doing, saying and matching them together helps the words stick.
