Free Printable Cutting Practice
8 pages · easy to harder
Thick dashed lines to cut on, from easy to harder: straight, zigzag, waves, curves, corners, a spiral, shapes, and a cut-and-glue match.
What you type stays on your phone.
How to use it
- Use child-safe scissors and sit beside your child. Start with the straight lines on page 1.
- Thumb on top ("thumbs up"), cut slowly from the big dot along the dashes. Turn the paper, not the scissors, on curves and corners.
- Move on one page at a time. Use the Harder version when cutting on the line gets easy.

Why it helps
Cutting builds hand strength and control, and the two hands learn to work together: one cuts, one holds and turns the paper. Short, thick lines first make it easy to feel successful.
