Free Printable Break Card and Calm-Down Choices
Two "I need a break" cards to cut out and six calm-down choices, each with room for your own picture. Page 2 is a plain break pass for teens.
What you type and the pictures you add stay on your phone.
How to use it
- Cut out a break card and keep it where your child can reach it: on the desk, in the pocket, on the fridge.
- Fill in the calm-down choices with your child, and add a picture of each real thing if you can.
- Practice when things are calm: show the card, take the break, come back. Teens can use page 2 instead.

Why it helps
Asking for a break is a skill. A card gives your child a clear way to say "I need a minute" before things get too big, and a short list of choices makes the break itself calmer.
