Free Printable Gift Time Script Cards: What to Say When I Get a Present
3 pages · 9 cards to cut out
A little flip book of picture cards to practice before holidays and birthdays: "Thank you!", "I like it", "Can I open it later?" and more, plus blank cards for your child's own words.
What you type and the pictures you add stay on your phone.
How to use it
- Print and cut out the cards. Punch a hole at the small dot and put them on a ring, or staple them, to make a little flip book.
- Practice a few days before the holiday or birthday, one card at a time: hand over something wrapped, and your child says or points to the card.
- Write your child's own words on the blank cards, like "Wow!" or "Can I see it later?", and add a picture if you like.

Why it helps
Getting a present can be a lot at once: a surprise, people watching, and words expected right away. Practicing a few things to say ahead of time, with a picture to point to, makes the real moment more predictable.
