How to use it
- Print both pages. Start with Easy (1 to 5); use Harder (up to 10) when Easy feels easy.
- Page 1: touch each feather and count out loud. Draw a line to the number (Easy), or write the number in the box (Harder).
- Page 2: say the number, then color that many feathers. Count them again when you are done.

Why it helps
Touching each feather once while saying the numbers builds one-to-one counting. Going both ways, from feathers to a number and from a number to feathers, shows that the number means how many.
